My parents taught us that there is a certain passion for the business that is inherent in family-owned businesses. Our vision includes teamwork, respect for tradition, and imagination. We find those same traits in the The Mechanics Bank. Even though the bank is celebrating its Centennial in 2005, it remains family-owned and still adheres to its founder's principles as a safe, sound financial steward.
CHAPPELLET VINEYARD, was established by Donn and Molly Chappellet in 1967. It was the second winery built in the Napa Valley after Prohibition, and one of the earliest to pursue hillside farming. Today, the family business includes several of the Chappellet children and a talented team dedicated to creating wines of exceptional quality at Pritchard Hill.
